 DC Move Activity

TO : ALL TRADING PARTICIPANTS AND DATA VENDORS

SUBJECT : DATA CENTER MOVE ACTIVITY

DATE : JULY 16, 2018

Further to PSE Memorandum TPA No. 2018-0010 dated June 8, 2018, the Exchange
would like to inform trading participants (“TPs”) and data vendors (“DVs”) of the
upcoming activities in preparation for the transfer of the PSE’s primary data center
(“DC”) which move is scheduled on August 28, 2018.

1) Forum

The Exchange would like to invite the TP Nominee or Head of Operations and IT
personnel as well as DV representatives to attend the forum to discuss any
preparatory works for the DC move.

The details are as follows:

The forum will also talk about the results of the disaster recovery test conducted
last June 23, 2018.

A maximum of two (2) participants per firm will be observed. You may confirm
your attendance to the forum by getting in touch with Ms. Janessa B. Tan at 876-

2) Mock Testing

The Exchange is encouraging all TPs and DVs to participate in a half-day mock
trading activity using the new DC on August 4, 2018, Saturday. The test aims to

1) ensure that all TPs and DVs are able to seamlessly connect its systems
using its final connections; 2) simulate a trading day from pre-open to generation
of end-of-day reports; and 3) ensure that subscribers to any of PSE services are
able to receive the same subscribed services in the current primary DC. The
Exchange will publish a separate memo for the test plans and scripts to be used
during the scheduled activity.

TPs and DVs are expected to have any and all connections to the new DC ready
in time for the Mock Testing. For connectivity concerns, you may get in touch
with the Exchange Network and Telecommunication Department at 876-4699 or
via email at td-ntd@pse.com.ph.

3) Cut-over Testing

To ensure that trading will run smoothly on the go-live date of the new primary
DC, the Exchange will conduct a cut-over test activity on August 27, 2018,
Monday, . All TPs and DVs are expected to participate in the said activity using
its final configuration and connection to the Exchange’s new data center.
