JAMTESTERS 1
HT- 4 Air & Ground Headset and Microphone Tester
The HT-4 has been designed to test high and low impedance aviation helmets,
headsets, headphones and mikes. It is a microprocessor-based headset tester that
can test:
In case of distortion the HT-4 can quickly determine if the distortion is generated
in the headphones side or the mike side of the headset.
The HT-4 has a Vu-meter that indicates the level of the audio signals. In the Sound
Pressure Level (SPL) test mode, the indication of the vu-meter is used to measure
the sensitivity of the microphone and compare it with other of the same type.
The HT4 can supply voltage for ANR headsets that work with energy supplied by
aircrafts. It also allows measuring the current demand of these headsets and an
aural alarm is activated when an overload occurs.
Not having to push any PTT switch to activate the tester gives the advantage of
using both hands to find momentary interruptions in the wiring.
This tester is ideal for Flight Schools, Flight Operations, Ground Services
companies, Headset Sales Facilities, Calibration Labs, Avionics Shops and any
Aircraft Service or Repair Facility.
