Joining The Army

吹角動行人，喧喧行人起。
The sound of the horn rouses men, now the clamor
of rising soldiers.
笳悲馬嘶亂，爭渡金河水。
Horses hiss at the clarion call, crossing golden
waters.
日暮沙漠陲，戰聲煙塵裏。
Sunset at the desert's edge, cries of battle amidst
the smoke and dust.
盡系名王頸，歸來獻天子。
The enemy king captured, soon an offering to the
Emperor.
