products by the action of living things such as microorganism..Widespread studies on the
biodegradation of platics have been carrierd out in order to overcome the enviromental
problems associated with synthetic plastic waste.

According to Ying Zheng, Ernest K Yanful, Amajeet S Bassi (2005) With more
and more plastics being employed in human lives and increasing pressure being placed
on capacity available for plastic waste dipossal, the need biodegradable plastics and
biodegradation of plastics wastes has assume increasing importance for the last few years
