GOTONG ROYONG

Last Saturday, my school held a gotong-royong. Before we began, the

headmaster gave instructions to all the teachers and pupils. After that, we started to
divide our duty. All of us were ready with gardening and cleaning tools.

One group was in charged for the classroom. We neatly arranged the tables
and chairs in rows. We also wiped the windows and swept the floor by using the
broom.

Upon that time, another group was outside the classroom. Some of them
pulled the weeds and picked the branches on the ground. Kavitha swept the dried
leaves while Atan pushed the wheelbarrow filled with rubbish to be thrown into the
dustbin.

Lastly, we had some refreshment at the canteen. Our headmaster treats us

with free drinks and meal. Even though we felt tired but we were really happy. We
managed to work as a team to make our school clean and tidy.

SCHOOL TRIP TO PULAU LANGKAWI

Last week, Nurul, Kim Seng and Pravin went on a school trip to Pulau
Langkawi. The trip was from 4 until 6 October 2017. They stay at Langkawi Hotel.

We had many fun activities there. On the first day, they visited Underwater
World, Oriental Village, Eagle Square, and night market. The next day, they visited
Perdana Langkawi Gallery Craft, Cultural Centre, and Mahsuri’s Tomb. They also had
some shopping in Kuah.

During the trip, they felt so happy and excited. They had visited so many
interesting places and one of them is Underwater World. Upon there, they were
exposed with real life sea creatures in a big aquarium. They felt quite scared but
overall it was worth a visit.

From the trip, they learned that we must take time to see the beautiful
scenery around us so that we will appreciate more of the nature in our country.
