General Visual Inspection of the Connectors in the AHRS HIRF Enclosure (MRB#052000−307)
1. General
A. The maintenance procedure that follows is for the general visual inspection of the connectors
related to the attitude heading reference system (AHRS) units. The AHRS units are installed in a
HIRF (Lightning/High Intensity Radiated Fields) enclosure below the floor in the passenger
compartment.

Subtask 05−20−00−010−008

A. Remove the access panel that follow:

B. Remove the cover (1) from the HIRF enclosure (2) as follows:
(1) Remove the screws (3) and washers (4) from the cover (1) and the enclosure (2).
(2) Remove the cover (1) of the box (2).

4. Procedure
Refer to Figure 605.
Subtask 05−20−00−210−015

A. Use a light and mirror to do a general visual inspection of the AHRS connectors (5) in the HIRF
enclosure (2) as follows:
(1) Look at the connectors on the AHRS units(6).
(2) Make sure that all connectors and backshells are correctly installed.
(3) Make sure that the connectors are in a good condition and are not damaged.

5. Close Out
Subtask 05−20−00−410−006

A. Install the cover (1) on the HIRF enclosure (2) as follows:

(1) Put the cover (1) in the correct position on the HIRF enclosure (2).
(2) Install the screws (3) and washers (4).
B. Install the access panel that follow:

C. Remove all tools, equipment and unwanted materials from the work area.
