ASSIGNMENT
Rifle cartridges with projectiles with lead cores are destined to fight any living beings and lightly armored
targets using:
7,62 mm UKM 2000 machine gun;
7,62 mm MG3 machine gun;
7,62 mm G3 machine gun;
7,62 mm SIG SAUER machine gun;
7,62 mm FN MAG machine gun;
7,62 mm FN FAL machine gun;
other types of weapon adapted to this type of ammunition.
An average accuracy of gunfire for cartridges RS while shooting from the ballistic barrel within the distance
of 300 m from the muzzle, is estimated at RS ≤ 9,2 cm.
ASSIGNMENT
Rifle cartridges with tracer projectiles are destined for registering and pointing the target as well as simultaneous
correction of gunfire during volley shooting using:
7,62 mm UKM 2000 machine gun;
7,62 mm MG3 machine gun;
7,62 mm G3 machine gun;
7,62 mm SIG SAUER machine gun;
7,62 mm FN MAG machine gun;
7,62 mm FN FAL machine gun;
other types of weapon adapted to this type of ammunition.
The top of the cartridge is painted in red colour to the height 4÷6 mm.
An average accuracy of gunfire for cartridges RS, while shooting from the ballistic barrel within the distance of 300 m
from the muzzle, is estimated at RS ≤ 21 cm.
The amount of tracer projectiles burning within the range of 250 m is no less than 90% whereas within 800 m ranges
to no less than 80%.
ASSIGNMENT
Rifle cartridges with armor-piercing projectiles are destined for fighting any living beings and lightly armored targets
using:
7,62 mm UKM 2000 machine gun;
7,62 mm MG3 machine gun;
7,62 mm G3 machine gun;
7,62 mm SIG SAUER machine gun;
7,62 mm FN MAG machine gun;
7,62 mm FN FAL machine gun;
other types of weapon adapted to this type of ammunition.
Cartridge components:
• a brass cartridge case;
• a projectile composed of the following elements:
o a brass jacket;
o a steel core;
o a lead jacket;
• a non-corrosive Berdan/Boxer primer;
• a propellant charge.
The top of the cartridge is painted in black colour to the height of 4÷6 mm.
An average accuracy of fire for cartridges RS while shooting from the ballistic barrel within the distance of 300 m from
the muzzle, is estimated at RS ≤ 12 cm.
Armor-piercing projectiles pierce through an armor plate, 7 mm thick, from the distance of 100 m.
7,62x51mm rifle cartridges with armor-piercing projectiles are destined for fighting lightly and medium armored
vehicles, field barricades and penetrating armor.
Projectiles are designed for:
7,62 mm UKM 2000 machine gun;
7,62 mm MG3 machine gun;
7,62 mm G3 machine gun;
7,62 mm SIG SAUER machine gun;
7,62 mm FN MAG machine gun;
7,62 mm FN FAL machine gun;
other types of weapon adapted to this type of ammunition.
The top of the cartridge is painted in black colour to the height of 4÷6 mm.
ASSIGNMENT
Rifle cartridges with armor-piercing and incendiary projectiles (API) are intended to fight the living beings and light
armored objectives. An incendiary mix inside the projectile initiates the ignition of flammable materials placed within
the striking range. Cartridges are designed for:
7,62 mm UKM 2000 machine gun;
7,62 mm MG3 machine gun;
7,62 mm G3 machine gun;
7,62 mm SIG SAUER machine gun;
7,62 mm FN MAG machine gun;
7,62 mm FN FAL machine gun;
other types of weapon adapted to this type of ammunition.
The top of the cartridge is painted in silver colour to the height 4÷6 mm.
An average accuracy of fire for cartridges RS while shooting from the ballistic barrel within the distance of 300 m from
the muzzle, is estimated at RS ≤ 12 cm.
Armor-piercing projectiles pierce through an armor plate, 7 mm thick, from the distance of 100m and light
the newsprint soaked with petrol placed behind the armor plate.
ASSIGNMENT
7,62 x 51 mm blank rifle cartridges are destined for practicing shooting using:
UKM-2000 universal machine gun;
MG-3 universal machine gun;
other types of weapon adapted to this type of ammunition (excluding sniper rifle)
Cartridge components:
• a brass cartridge case;
• a fulminate Berdan/Boxer primer;
• a propellant charge.
The top of the cartridge is painted in green colour to the height of 2÷3 mm.
The report of 7,62x51mm blank rifle cartridge is comparable to that of an operational one. Cartridges are
safe in use; they do not result in piercing the paper wall placed within the distance of 10 m from the firing
line.
The ammunition is used for training and practicing at shooting-ranges which have restricted protection areas
and at the garrison shooting-ranges.
The ammunition with OR bullets has shorter range at about 50 % from the live ammunition of the same
caliber. The cartridge keep the effectiveness of hitting the target during shooting with the use of standard
optical instruments, typically used in personal weapon, within the distance:
