Note From the Teacher:

Scholastic book orders and money are due Friday, August 31. Attached to the book
orders was a paper explaining how to access the Scholastic book order online. Take
advantage of this great program…..think about Christmas presents! You can access
the book order at www.scholastic.com/readingclub. The class code is GMMCB.
If you notice graded homework coming home with “make corrections” at the top of
it, it’s because that assignment received a low enough score to be a “D” or “F”. For any
assignment that is failing (D or F) students have the opportunity to make corrections
and turn that assignment back in the next day . The assignment will be re=graded and
then the score will be averaged. This will help students save valuable points and cor-
rect mistakes they are making on their work.
