Its a "20mm F/F coupling", found with the irrigation risers in the gardening section at Bunnings.
There's a similar part Philmac socket BSP ¾", in the plumbing section; that one has a hex shape on
the outside perimeter so you can tighten it with a spanner.

The first YAGI I made this way (Audionut 850), I cut a hole in the coupling to make it easy for fat
fingers to attach the wires to the driven element in situ. I then glued the offcut back over the hole.
This time I did it without cutting that hole; it was easy enough to screw the wires in.
You just need to remember to thread the lead through the tail pipe first! (Assuming you have a
connector larger than your pipe diameter) Otherwise you'll have to unscrew the wires from the
driven element to get it right.

And before you do that you should drill all necessary holes in the tail pipe! Or your drill will make
short work of your lead...

My quick 30 min shonky antenna.

1 element is a bit crooked but not bad for a 30 minute job I must say. I used the old black pipe riser,
as I had run out of the white conduit plumbers pipe.

And most importantly it works fine at 20Km obstructed.
