LITERACY focus standards MATH focus standard

CCSS: RL1.3 Students will describe We are focusing on daily Math routines, counting

and High Frequency Words. Please review.
 Monte Vista earned an “A” grade!!!! We were
one of 5 schools in Las Cruces Public Schools
to earn this grade from the NMPED.

Our current Science domain is Earth Science.

We are studying patterns that include weather
conditions, temperature, hours of daylight, and
moon phases. Thank you for keeping up with
the night sky observations. (NGSS: 1-ESS1-1)
