Depending on nationality RYI has different rates for:
• SAARC
If you are a student from a SAARC country, the SAARC tuition rates apply to you.
• Nepali
If you are a local Nepali student, you qualify for the Nepali tuition rate.
• International
If you are not a Nepali or SAARC student, International tuition rates apply to you.

Summer Program:
Summer Continuing Education Rate: Enrolled for two consecutive semesters, on-campus at RYI with a minimum of
The Summer Program tuition is due in full two weeks after acceptance into the program. The Summer Program price
includes a welcome reception and farewell dinner, tuition, lunch at the Institute’s restaurant when classes are in session
and tours.
Colloquial Tibetan and Nepali Summer Intensives with home-stay option include accommodation and all meals.
Students who choose to opt out of the homestay program pay a reduced course fee. These students must arrange
for breakfast and dinner on their own.
The Tuition fee for the Buddhist Studies Intensive includes all expenses for the two-week retreat at the end of the course.
• Students from Nepal and any SAARC country must pay their tuition fees in Nepali Rupees. All other students must
pay their tuition fees in US Dollars.

• The Translator Training Program price includes: registration fees, tuition, visa fee, lunch at the RYI restaurant when
school is in session, two months with a Tibetan Homestay family as well as all course materials.
