for educators Deuteronomy 4:31

NIV - For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget
the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.


RSV - for the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not fail you or destroy you or forget the
covenant with your fathers which he swore to them.

KJV - (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee,
nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.


LB - For the Lord your God is merciful—he will not abandon you nor destroy you nor forget
the promises he has made to your ancestors.

Note to the educator

He will NEVER leave you! He is the God of promises and He cannot lie. I’m sure you would love
to tell your students that you will never abandon them nor fail to support them. It will always
be the inten.on of our hearts, but we are human and we can’t make such a promise. But God
has promised that to us, his children. Take courage, Chris.an educator, He will never forget His
promises.
