This year Railway Recruitment Board has released 26,502 vacancies to recruit young &
talented aspirants for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technicians. The online
applications has started & you can complete the registration till 5th March 2018. The
RRB ALP & Technician selection process consist of 4 stages. The 1st stage will be a
common test for both Assistant Loco Pilot & technician 2018. Before starting
preparation of any exam it is very important to know its syllabus. Therefore, to make
you prepare in a better way we are providing Railway Technician & Assistant Loco Pilot
Syllabus 2018 for 1st Stage CBT.

The marks obtained in 1st stage CBT Test will be used, only for shortlisting the students
for 2nd stage. Thus, it is very essential to study as per the syllabus in order to qualify the

The 1st stage examination of RRB Technician & ALP will be of easy to moderate level.
The RRB Technician & Alp exam consist of mainly:

As the exact number of questions that will be asked from each subject is not specified in
the exam pattern, therefore it is expected that around 15-19 Qs will be asked from
Mathematics portion.

• Question Types: Based on BODMAS, Approximate

High Accuracy Possible.

Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular
Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.
