Instructions
1. Enter the name of your initiative.

2. Enter the names of the milestones associated with your initiative.

3. Add the start and end dates for each milestone. Be careful to
enter your dates correctly. Excel requires that dates match.

4. The duration should calculate on its own. If it does not, set the
column equal to end date - start date.

5. If your initiative starts before 1/1/16, you will need to edit the x-
axis minimum value.

6. If you need to add more than 10 milestones or don't quite need

that many, edit the ranges of the series by right-clicking on the chart
and choosing select data.

Cautions
- This template does not cover many of the important fields
associated with project planning.
- Owner, percentage complete, status, and linked objectives and
measures are not easily displayed in this format.

- If the project needs fewer or more milestones, you must edit the
ranges used in the chart. Be careful, as these are easily broken.

- Updates to the project will update only the Gantt chart in this file.
Images of the Gantt in use in reports will need to be replaced every
time there are updates.
