1. LETTER

A letter is a message that is written down or printed on paper and usually


put in an envelope and sent to somebody .

DIFFERENT TYPES OF LETTERS :


1. Enquiry letters
2. Order letters
3. Appointment letter
4. Complaint letter
2. NOTICE

Notice is a form of written communication that is sent to a


person notifying or informing him about any specific topic .

It contains short message ,date , signature of authorized


signatory and references numbers .
3. REPORT

A report is a methodical well planned document which outline and evaluates


a subject or problems and which may include.
The record of an order of words.
Explanation of the implication of there events or facts
Evaluation of the facts or results of research presented
Discussion of the consequences of a conclusion or course of action
Conclusions

4. CIRCULAR

A circular is a one which is meant to be read by a number of receivers . It


is of the nature of an advertisement and is usually a business
announcement or an attempt to advance business.

Easy method of conveying information .

Creating marketing .
5. MINUTES

Minutes are the key points of which are recorded in the formal meeting .
It generally contains :-
I. Essential points of the topics action taken .
II. Conclusion
III. Assignments given

6. E-MAIL / FAX

E-mail i.,e electronic mail is a system for sending messages ,


through network from one computer or terminal to a receiving
computer or terminal and for storing such messages.

Fax i.,e facsimile , is an image of document that was


scanned and sent electronically by a machine.
7. MEMORANDUM

A memorandum is a short official note that is sent by one


person to another within the some company or organizations .

It contains memo number date (of issuing ), sender signature .


CONCLUSION

Written communication is the transmission of message opinion with the


help of reports ,Memos , circulars , letter etc. Mostly, used in office
work for documentation , it can Be permanently stored and when
we talk about business organization , it is the most Effective and
useful way of communication .
