I’ll be introducing our judges for todays event

Grade 7 ISP
Our first Judge for Grade 7 Interactive Science Project is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering at Father Saturnino Urios University. He passed the Civil Engineering Board exam on the
year 2015 and is currently a resident engineer here in Philippine Science High School – Caraga Region
Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our first judge, Engr. Stephen Dalauta.

Our next judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education at Philippine Normal University –
Mindanao Campus. He is a Special Science Teacher teaching AdTech 2 here in Philippine Science
High School – Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our second judge, Mr. Jhon Ryan
Hijastro.

Our third judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Caraga State University.
She is currently a Special Science Teacher teaching Mathematics 2 here in Philippine Science High
School – Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our third judge for Grade 7 ISP, Ms. Divine
Faith Almocera.

Grade 8 ISP
Our first Judge for Grade 8 Interactive Science Project is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering at Father Saturnino Urios University. He passed the Civil Engineering Board exam on the
year 2012 and is currently a resident engineer here in Philippine Science High School – Caraga Region
Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our first judge Engr. Reyjan Von Parreño

Our next judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Caraga State University. He is
currently a Special Science Teacher teaching Mathematics 3a and 4 here in Philippine Science High
School – Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our second judge, Mr. Nestor ‘Bong’
Nemeño.

Our third judge is also a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Caraga State University.
She is currently a Special Science Teacher teaching Mathematics 1 here in Philippine Science High
School – Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our third judge for Grade 8 ISP, Ms. Daisyre
Mae Altar.

Grade 9 ISP
For the Grade 9 Interactive Science Project, our external judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science
in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Southeastern Philippines, Tagum-Mabini Campus. He
finished his Master of Engineering Major in Mechanical Engineering at Ateneo de Davao University.
He is a licensed Agricultural Engineer, and has been certified in the Advanced Course on Basics
of Patent Drafting and in the Advanced Course in Patent Search by the World Intellectual Property
Organization.

He garnered the 2nd place during the 2017 Department of Science and Technology - Regional
Invention Contest and Exhibition (DOST-RICE) and is also a finalist during the 2016 AMY IP Awards
Professional Category.
Ladies and Gentlemen, our first judge, Engr. Jefrey Manayaga Bagasbas.

Our next judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Nova Computer College
in Quezon City. He is currently the Information System Analyst of Philippine Science High School –
Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our second judge for Grade 9 ISP, Mr. Michael
Francisco.

Our third judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Butuan Doctors’ College. She is
currently the Registrar of Philippine Science High School – Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and
gentlemen, our third judge, Ms. Marife Mallonga.

Grade 10 SIP (Life Science)

//Dr. Reynaldo Garnace

Our next external judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Zoology at Mindanao State University – Iligan
Institute of Technology. She also finished her Master of Science in Biology at the same University. She finished
her Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology at the Nanjing University, Nanjing, Jiangsu, People’s Republic of China as a
Recipient of the International Student Scholarship of China under the China Scholarship Council (CSC)
Program.

She has published several national and international Researches including The diet and feeding behavior of
Oriental Scops owls (Otus sunia) published in the Chinese Journal of Zoology and the Imposex Incidence in
Thais tuberose (Roding, 1798), Cronia margariticola (Broderip, 1832) in the Coastal Barangays of Nasipit,
Agusan del Norte, Philippines published in the SDSSU Multidisciplinary Research Journal.

She has also presented several national and international Researches including the Agricultural and tree
Plantation Development in Agusan Marsh during the Asian Wetland Symposium (AWS) on Integrated
Biodiversity Conservation: Linking Forests and Wetlands held in Sabah, Malaysia.
She is currently an Assistant Professor II at Caraga State University. Ladies and Gentlemen, our second judge,
Dr. EVE V. FERNANDEZ-GAMALINDA.

Our third and internal judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Father Saturnino Urios
Universoty. She is currently a Science Research Assistant here in Philippine Science High School –
Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our third judge, Ms. Ruby Marian Aguit.
Grade 10 SIP (Physical Science Category)

For the Grade 10 Science Investigatory Project, Physical Science category. Our first external judge is
a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of
Technology. He finished his Master of Science in Chemistry at the University of the Philippines,
Diliman, Quezon City. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry in Molecular Science and
Technology at the National Tsing Hua University – Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan.

He has published and presented scientific papers to refereed journals and to various national and
international conferences and has won several awards including the Best Research Paper on
Environment Award during the CHED UPLB Zonal Research Symposium at Manuel S. Enverga
University Foundation, Lucena City, and as the Outstanding Paper Poster during the Asian Core
Winter School in Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He also Won the 1st Place Paper Award during the 10th
Philippine National Health Research Systems (PNHRS) sponsored by the Philippine Council for
Health Research and Development (PCHRD)

He is currently an Associate Professor I in Caraga State University. Ladies and Gentlemen, our first
judge, Dr. Rey Y. Capangpangnan.

Our next judge is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Father Saturnino Urios
Universoty. She is currently the assistant Curriculum and Instruction Division Chief for Science
Mathematics Computer Science and Technology (SMCT) division here in Philippine Science High
School – Caraga Region Campus. Ladies and gentlemen, our second judge, Ms. Ms. Jecelyn Elorta.
