Social media is any website that allows social interaction.

Social
media is growing quickly throughout the world. There are
different opinions on the importance of social media. In this
essay, I will talk about people who are with and against social
media.

People divide into two categories. The first one is solidarity with
social media. In their opinion, they see if social media is used
correctly it will be useful because they can communicate with
their friends, family, and strangers. They can make relationships
with other people in different countries. They also see that
students can benefit from social media as they can work with
new technologies, and collect information from variant places.
For example, when they ask their teachers and doctors for
information.

The second category is against social media. They see that

social media is not used correctly, so it causes destruction of
relations of families, and friends and make each person isolated
from the world because most people spend their time on social
media and don't manage it properly, so they forget to visit their
relatives, and see their family and talk to them. Each one in just
his own world.

In my opinion, social media is double-edged sword. If properly

exploited, it will be useful, but if it is misused, it will be useless
and has serious consequences.
