NEWS FROM 3A

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 3, 2018


This month students will use one of their composition books

HANDWRITING
Students will be practicing manuscript that will lead them to writing
in cursive. They will write letters and recognize the connections they
will use in cursive.
SCIENCE-This week students will learn about what causes the
seasons and how long it takes the earth to revolve around the
sun and begin learning about the moon.
RELIGION-Students will learn about what Jesus teaches us
about God’s love. This week’s Word of the Week is indignant-

SOCIAL STUDIES-This week students will learn about the geography and
history of different communities starting with El Paso and continuing
with Astoria, Oregon and Timbuktu, Africa.

REMINDERS
The only drop off is on Stanton Street. The Arizona parking lot is not a drop off.
Parents need to park and walk students to the school at the crosswalk if they are
using the parking lot. The lot behind the gym and the church is also not to be
used to drop off students. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation!
