28 count evenweave or 14 count Aida, 11 x 11 inches
32 count evenweave or 16 count Aida, 10 x 10 inches
36 count evenweave or 18 count Aida,10w x 9h inches

Threads:
DMC stranded cotton:
310 Black, one skein
498 Christmas red - dark, one skein

Stitches used:
Back stitch
Cross stitch

Tapestry needle No.24

Method:
Start from the centre of the design working the lettering, one row at a time. Where possible work the cross stitch first and outline with back
stitch to create a neater letter. Finish each row by threading the cotton through the back of worked stitches. Avoid laying threads across
open spaces as they will show when the work is completed.
