In pursuance of PPPA rules 2004 the sealed landers are invited from the well reputed /renowned
firms having at least five years‘ experience in Supply in insulation of Diesel generator system with
valid registration for Income tax for the following work at Visiting faculty hostel, University of
Karachi.

1. The details specific of the item and quantity are mention in the tender documents which can
be purchase from the date of publication of NIT from the office of Assisstant Project
Engineer (Electrical) at Directorate Planning and Development near Gate No.2, University of
Karachi, against a written request with payment of tender fee of Rs.1000/- in shape of Pay
Oder from any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of University of Karachi” (Non-
Refundable) 15-9-2009 during the official working hours on all working days.
2. 2% earnest money of the value of the bid amount to be submitted in the shape of Pay Order
from any scheduled bank of Pakistan along with tender bid in favor of University of Karachi”.
No bid shall be considered without earnest money.
3. The tender duly completed and addressed to Project Director, Visiting Faculty, Hostel, must
reach or to dropped in the tender box placed in the office of the Project Director, Visiting
Faculty, Hostel, Director of Planning and Development near Gate No.2, University of Karachi
latest by 11am on 16-09-2009.The tender shall be opened on the same day at 11am in the
presence of the bidders who may wish to be present. In the case of any holiday or
disturbance, the tender will be open on the next working day, as per schedule.
4. The successful bidder who refuses to supply the tender after accepting working
order/purchase order is liable of forfeit of his earnest money as a penalty.
5. Competent authority may reject all or any bid subject to the relevant provisions of PPRA
rules.
