Daywise Itinerary

Welcome aboard Thomas Cook's exciting and comprehensive tour to Egypt-'The land of Nile'. Enjoy a city tour of
Alexandria.
Day 01 Today, embark on your exciting tour of Egypt. On arrival in Alexandria, you be greeted by your friendly Thomas Cook tour manager / local
representative outside the baggage hall. Proceed and check in to your conveniently located Hotel (Standard Check-in time is 1400hrs).
After freshening up, sit back in your coach, as we take you on an Alexandria city Tour. See the Catacombs of Kon-El-Shokafa, Pompey's
Pillar, and the Montazah Gradens. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
Overnight at Hotel Radisson Blu or similar in Alexandria.

Proceed to Cairo. Enjoy the stunning sound and light show.


After an American breakfast at your hotel, depart to Cairo. On arrival, check in at your conveniently located Hotel. Today enjoy a sumptuous
Day 02 lunch at a local Indian restaurant. This evening, enjoy Sound and light show. You can get a glimpse back in time to see, feel and imagine
how it was when the powerful Egyptians ruled. Tonight enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a local Indian restaurant.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the ancient capital city-Cairo. Live the experience of the land of the pharaohs. Visit the
mysterious Sphinx. Later Visit the Egyptian Museum and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.
Day 03 After an American breakfast at your hotel, we depart on a guided tour of this ancient capital city. On the west bank of the Nile, facing Cairo
and on top of the Giza plateau, rise the three Pyramids erected by Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus, and guarded by the mysterious
sphinx, a mythical statue with a body of a lion and a human head. The three Pyramids and the Sphinx are considered one of the Seven
Wonders of the World. Also see the Cairo tower, one of the more recent landmarks of Cairo rising to a height of 187 meters, the famous
Blue Mosque with blue mosaic walls, and the Mari Mina church dating back to the early 5th century. Today enjoy lunch. See the famous
Egyptian Museum which houses more than 2, 50,000 antique pieces covering the whole history of ancient Egypt, which extends over the
past five thousand years; the most splendid being the collection of Tut Ankh-Amen. Later, you can visit the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar and the
Al Sagha market place were you will come across some interesting jewellery shops or go shopping to pick up souvenirs on your own.
Tonight enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner at a local restaurant.

Visit the massive Abu Simbel temples - A UNESCO world heritage site. Proceed to Aswan - one of the most beautiful
cities of Egypt. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Aswan on you city tour. Get set for the time of your life as you board
Day 04 your luxurious Nile River cruise.
Today enjoy a box breakfast and later proceed to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Proceed to Abu Simbel visit the magnificent temples of
Abu Simbel dedicated to Gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as to the deified Rameses. We then visit the temple of Philae
dedicated to Goddess Isis. Later proceed to Aswan for a guided city tour visiting the High Dam - one of the outstanding architectural
achievements of the twentieth century. After which we proceed to the Cruise centre to board the luxurious cruise liner - The Nile River
Cruise. Enjoy the delicious 'welcome aboard' buffet dinner consisting of cuisines from various part of the World.

Visit the city sights of Kom Ombo including the magnificent Temple of Two Gods. Move onto Edfu. Visit the temple of
Edfu. Sail to Luxor via Esna Lock.
Day 05 Enjoy breakfast on board the cruise. Later we proceed to visit the famous 'Temple of Two Gods'. Dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, the
crocodile gods, this temple was constructed during the Roman era and is noted for the engravings on the walls in Kom Ombo. We board
the cruise again to sail to Edfu town situated on the west bank of the river Nile. On arrival, we proceed to the famous Edfu temple dedicated
to God Horus, represented by the Falcon. This is one of the most beautiful Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge splendid structure
that blends Pharoic and Greek architecture. Enjoy the sights of the Nile River from the deck, as your Nile Cruise sails to Luxor via the Esna
Lock. Enjoy meals on board the cruise.
Overnight on board the River Nile cruise.

Today sail to the magnificent town of Luxor - City of Palaces. Marvel at the architectural brilliance of the various
temples.
Day 06 After a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise, we proceed on a tour of Luxor - the city of palaces. Visit the famous tombs in the Valley of
Kings. Visit the temple of Hatshepsut. We then proceed to the Colossi of Memnon, which are the ruins of the funerary tomb of the Pharaoh
Amenhotep III and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only queen who ruled Egypt. Further proceed to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples.
After a day of fun, board the cruise for a good night sleep in your cozy cabin. Enjoy the meals on board the cruise.
Overnight on board the River Nile cruise.

Disembark from the cruise. Day at Leisure at Luxor.
After a delicious breakfast onboard the cruise, we disembark from the cruise and transfer to your conveniently located Hotel in Luxor where
Day 07 you can spend the day at leisure. Today enjoy Lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant in the evening.
Overnight at Hotel Steigenberger or similar in Luxor.

CANCELLATIONS
All services such as Airline seats / Hotel accommodation / ground transportation etc. for group tours are preblocked well in
advance. We are still liable to pay to all our suppliers / vendors the agreed charges including penalties , if these services are
released/cancelled within the below mentioned time frame. If circumstances make you cancel the Tour, the cancellation must
be intimated to us in writing. All Cancellations will attract the following Cancellation Charges:

The company reserves the right to cancel any Tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. In such an event, all
monies paid by you will be fully refunded forthwith in Indian Rupees currency only, but no compensation will be payable. In
case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation.
The company cannot assume responsibility for any additional cost or any fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation
of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company. The company reserves the right to forfeit the booking
deposit in case of any cancellations. However, passengers whose visas are not granted by the consulates must intimate us
at-least 45 days in advance of the date of commencement/departure of the tour, at which time the company will deduct INR
5,000/- per person towards Guidance Charges over and above any other actual expenses, if any, incurred and refund the
balance amount. However if such intimation is received after the said period of 45 days prior to the date of commencement/
departure of the tour, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the cancellation rules mentioned above.

PAYMENTS
All payments towards the tour cost must be made by the client to the company in accordance with the procedure and time
frame mentioned herein below. All payments made within 10 days prior to the tour departure date will have to be paid in
cash/Demand Draft. The PAN Card copy will be required when payments amounting Rs.25,000/- or above are made by
cash. Payments made towards the foreign exchange component of your tour will be calculated as per the ROE (rate of
exchange) of that given day.

Full payment must be made in accordance with the procedure stated above. In case of noncompliance thereto by the client,
the company reserves a right to cancel the tour/booking of the client with subsequent loss of deposit and apply and recover
the cancellation charges as mentioned herein.

INR 5,000/- the minimum cost of deviation, in case you want to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in
the brochure. The fare difference, if any, will be charged over INR 5,000/-.
The tour cost does not include any POE charges and passport charges.
Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10,000/-.
Any increase in the airfare, visa charged by the airlines/ consulate on your air ticket /visa (presently calculated at
rates as of 30 June 2016).
Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drinks not in the regular
menus provided by us.
Meals other than what is mentioned in your itinerary.
Taxes as applicable.
Cost of excursions, sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that
mentioned in the 'What your Tour Price Includes' box.

Insurance

Medical insurance for the duration of the tour is included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of
60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.
Things to Note

POINTS TO BE NOTED

Meals, transfers, entrances, sightseeing and surface transport as mentioned in the itinerary.
The group tour will operate with a Tour Manager subject to a minimum of 20 full-paying passengers travelling
together.
In the event that the group size is less than 20 passengers, you will be given an option of travelling on FIT basis, by
paying an additional supplement on seat in coach basis with local representatives to assist you.
There will be certain sightseeing which will not be provided when the tour operates on a seat-incoach basis, due to
operational reasons.
A person below 12 years is considered child and above 12 years, an adult.
As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rolls away beds or 2 queen size beds and the room size may be the
same as a double room. Taxes as applicable extra.
Service tax as applicable to be paid extra on tour price.
For certain departures, we may re-route the itinerary. However all sightseeing and inclusions will remain the same.
On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
Surcharges due to Local Events applicable on certain departures.
Optional excursions are subject to minimum 20 paying passengers.

TERMS and CONDITIONS:

IMP NOTE: If you are travelling to Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia it is mandatory to get your vaccination against Yellow Fever
and carry the certificate of the vaccination along with you on your tour.

All prices are ex-hub city only. Passengers from any other city can join from the hub city; however, any expenses
borne by the passengers to/fromthe hub city are at their own expense.
The cost of airfare included in the above tour cost is based on the fare structure as of 30 June 2016.
Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in the Government regulations, taxes,
etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers; Thomas Cook will not be held responsible for the
same.
Meals are pre set and a-la carte is not possible.
Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers. Thomas Cook
will not be liable for the same.
We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure; excursions advertised or substitute a
hotel of similar class if deemed necessary.
For the convenience of our passengers, we will, sometimes, amend the itinerary. However, all services will remain
the same.
There are no refunds for any services, i.e. meals, sightseeing, etc. not utilized on the tour.
The Company reserves the right to alter the order of the itinerary. The same will be informed to the client before the
departure.
Taxes as applicable extra.
Due to Trade Fairs and Conventions in the cities, the hotels may be blocked out more than 02 years in advance. In
view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered /
amended.
Hotels mentioned are subject to availability.
The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay,
breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement (Management reserves the right to
claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather
conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause, whatsoever, and all such losses or expenses must be borne
by the passengers.
Certain departure dates will have surcharges applicable, please contact our local sales office for details.
Standard check-in time for the hotels is 1400hrs while check-out is at 1200hrs.
Thomas Cook will not be liable in any loss or damage of baggage by the Airline.
Tours operated subject to RBI/GOI regulations. Part of the Tour cost will be paid in USD out of the BTQ.
