Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,

I write this to you with this letter in hopes of approval for my senior portfolio. The approval of this
letter will not only help me graduate from Buckingham Charter Magnet High School, but will
enable me to start the journey towards my plans for the future. My experience at this school has
set up a challenging but very rewarding process for me. I feel I have been properly set up for
what is expected of me in college level education and any job I hope to pursue in the future.

Coming from a homeschool background, I was a bit worried at first to enter the public school
setting. However, attending Buckingham has helped me grow in many ways and has pushed me
to limits and given me challenges that will undoubtedly benefit me even after I graduate. I feel I
have not only taken interesting classes that I genuinely enjoy, but classes that also have forced
me to learn things I might not have learned otherwise without attending public school. I am very
grateful for the education opportunities Buckingham has provided me with.

After my graduation in 2019, I plan to finish up my General Education requirements through Napa
Community College. While doing this, I also desire to follow the TAG program through The
University of California, Davis. This will help me save money while still working to transfer into a
academically strong school that will set me up for a successful future. At Davis, I wish to study
Kinesiology and Animal Behavior.

Thank you very much for your time in reviewing my portfolio. I hope this gives you a good idea of
my plans and goals for my future. I will work hard to succeed and make my future prosperous.
