1. In the top 10 great attributes of nurses, what three (3) traits are you effective on and explain
how you can deliver such traits. Also, what 3 traits would you like to improve on.
 The three traits that I think I’m effective are:
1. Emotional Stability – Emotional stability because no matter how traumatic
the situation I encounter I will never let my emotions affect my job. Being
attached to patient may affect the quality of care given to the other patients
and that may compromise the health and also the life of the patient.

2. Quick Response – As a nurse one must be flexible to adapt at any situations

that may occur. And also the ability to do quick, precise and accurate
judgment that will benefit the patients.

3. Respect - Nurses respects anyone, people and rules. I can apply this on a
clinical setting, we nurses accepts anyone, without any religion, cultures and
tradition barriers. And above all we must respect patient wishes.

 The Three traits that I would like to improve on are

1. Communication Skills – I feel awkward talking to my patients maybe because of
my personality. I don’t like talking to people unless you need something from
them I think that’s my weakness.
2. Physical Endurance - Due to my body build I easily get tired so I need to improve
my stamina, and improve my body build.
3. Interpersonal Skills - just like communication skills. I need to improve this
attributes.

2. Listed above are the general principle as basis of the code of ethics in the Philippines (please
read further in your Prof. Nurses in the Philippines Book by Dr. Venson), Explain how you will
practice nursing profession using this principles as your guide towards nursing practice and

 Code of Ethics for Nurses in the Philippines was devised as a guide for carrying out
