AUTOBIOGRAPHY

My name is Jhan Carlos Higuita Muñoz, you may think my name is so long. Well it’s

just Jhan, but Carlos is my father’s first name and it is a tradition of our family. I was

born in Ciudad Bolivar, Antioquia that is part of what’s known as the Aburrá valley and

I brought up in Belen, a neighborhood of the city of Medellin, located in the municipality

number 16. We are a family of five: my parents, my sister, me and my little brother.

The school days offered me a lot to learn. Subjects like science, languages and

philosophy were of special interest to me, however, math never interested me. There are

a lot of things I like and that I don’t like. I like to be with my family, I like to play soccer,

I enjoy listening to music, but what I really love is to share moments with someone,

playing card games, making jokes and I really love laugh heaps. At school I was more

inclined towards understanding the concepts rather than just memorize them.

Well now maybe you're interested in knowing a little bit about my personality, so I'm

going to please you. I consider that I’m a sociable boy, fun, loving, humble, and very

good friend, I think that I’m friendly when it is time to play soccer or whatever sport I

don’t have problem and talk to the other looking for a friendship, but I’m honest and I

tell you that I have so many bad point in relation with my personality, for example I

have a bad temper when the people do not do the things that they need to do, also I get

angry when someone tries to make me be wrong without even knowing me, I hate

excuses and I don’t like that someone tell me lies because I consider that I am a

straightforward and very frank person.

There is something that is important that you to know, in 2015 I moved to another city

and to another state, that was so important in my live because I had to get used to
another culture, another kind of food and another accent that at the beginning was so

interesting to me. This change has meant a fresh start and a new opportunity to give

the best of me and to enjoy every day of what this city has to offer me. I’m happy here

and I really enjoy go out for a walk and meet new places, new towns and new people to

talk and to be good friends, also I love this places because here I’ve known people who

have become very important for me.

Now I am studying modern languages and I am so happy with most of the things and

changes that I have done, I hope continue learning new things and improving my

English to travel to another country and to became me in a good teacher and probably

in an excellent translator recognized in a good way. I also want to have a big family and

to take care about my parents and all the people that have helped me in this process

that is my live.
