Responsibility report Lego

According to the CSR report of Lego, a Danish company making toys it is changing the
manufacturing process from plastics to bio-plastics which is taken from plants, trees, leaves
and woods which emits less CO2 and these bio-plastics are degradable. They have also
partnered with agencies like WWF regarding this. Their aim is to make it more an
environmental friendly company than it was before they even took other initiatives such as
reducing co2 emission in their operation supply chain, invest in renewable and sustainable
energy , reduce and recycle waste and most importantly inspire children’s the importance of
sustainable environmental challenges .

Internally they are ambitious on promoting zero accident work environment, and mental
health . they encourage employees to play an active role in their own wellbeing as well as
their colleges .to ensure the mental health of their works they made of a code of conduct
which they expects their suppliers to treat their workers with respect, fair wages and other
reasonable requirements is also mentioned in that list.
