This report contains the essence of implementing a day care centre for the benefit of the
company & employees of company. As in India the diversified living is increased,
professional workers worried about care of their children below age of 5 years. It is hard to
compensate between work & taking care of their child. It results in decreasing the efficiency
of employees & hence of company.
A better suggestion is to provide a professional day care facility to the same. So that to
increase the peace of mind of employee & value of company insight of employee. A
significance cost will be encountered but it soon recoverable & beneficial ultimately.
Few currently running centres examples are also provided with good results of implementing
the same. Hence a company which is well concern about its employees should implement a
day care centre for employee childrens.
Proposal to establish a day care centre
Statement of need
Key success of company is to creating good images not only to customers mind but employee
satisfaction as well. According to a survey a company having employee more than five
hundreds is likely to have the professional employees who can’t find the enough time for
their family & kids. The typical Indian family now requires dual or supplemental incomes.
Hence parents nowadays can’t find enough time for their children. This trend has created a
need for quality child care services. Many companies offer child/day care facilities to their
employee during their working hour for their children. It significantly increases the
concentration of employee during their work. It also increases the value of a company to
employee by providing professional care facilities at a cost less than that of the combination
of conventional day care and specific interest based children programs. Professional care
givers with the credentials to not only enhance your child's early social and motor skills, but
to also teach them advanced studies in the arts and sciences found at institutions of higher
learning. A collegiate-based curriculum tailored specifically for children, taught in a fun,
nurturing care giving environment.
Clear benefits
How companies can increase the concentration of their employee during the work especially
in early maternal or paternal days? Today major companies are finding the answer of the
same question. There is no measure of the same, but yes there are certain solutions available
to it. Provide professional day care facility is one of the best of them. During early
maternal/paternal days employee takes leave very frequently. Even it is necessary as well
when parents are working professionals. They also loose concentration at work place due to
worry of children. If company itself provide the same at least cost near by working place so
employee will less worthy & increased company value, ultimate result increase efficiency of
company. Even if at provide same facility at effective rates company can have small revenues
as well. It will clearly show that company is concern about employee’s family as well.
Description activities
This day care facility will provided only to children (age group: 4 months to 5 years) of
company employee. It will ensure the company of children & quality serve. Children will be
distributed in 4 groups as:
Time line
It will take 1 month for licensing, registration & staffing process. It will take another more 1
month for interior, buying of goods etc. This is based on assumption that after allocating
space & budget. If space is needed to arrange then it will take 4 moths prior to these time
schedules. If a nominal rate is proposed to apply to employee and all employee agrees to send
there children then it is likely to recover capital investments (excluding space) at end of (or
after) 2years. After 3 years if company wants to carry the same business & want to be it
commercialize for professional society it can be work out & physible as well.
Management
The management will be in hands of our company only. One person from your company
(may be from Human Recourses department) will be included in part of admin team.
Organization structure for daycare includes 4 instructors, clerk, peon, an officer & other staff
if required (like, visiting pediatrician, dietician, etc.).
Cost/Budget
Cost offering by us is never exceeding then the satisfaction of our customer. The capital cost
required is as below: (all cost is in INR)
Apart from these the admin & running cost will be 20,000/- per moth. As these includes
serving time of 8 hours a day, the cost encountered is not so much high as for long term
benefit of company.
