The apogee and perigee distances of a satellite orbiting in an
elliptical orbit are respectively 45000km and 7000km. Determine-
(i) semi-major axis of the elliptical orbit, (ii) orbit eccentricity,
and distance between the centre of the earth and the centre of

3. With the help neat diagram, define (i) Line of apsides, (ii) 10
Ascending node, (iii) Inclination, (iv) Argument of perigee, (v) Marks
Right ascension of the ascending node.
