Wins Award at Flora
Fest 2007
Sabah recently took home
the award for ‘Best
Depiction of a Theme’ during the float parade at the Flora
Fest 2007 which was held at Perdana Avenue, Putrajaya.
The float with its theme, ‘Living in Harmony with Nature’,
wowed judges which featured a giant agamid lizard,
endemic to Sabah’s forests. The reptile, which symbolis-
es Sabah’s eco-tourism, was accompanied by dancers in
traditional costumes.

gains, KK City has it all. Start your spree at
Centre Point Sabah, home to the Pacific Ngiu
Kee Department Store. On the ground floor,
explore City Parade for a wide selection of
trainers, backpacks, sporting goods and handphones at
affordable prices. On 4th Floor, Palm Square offers top
brand-names: Guess, Elle, MNG and Diesel to name a few.
Wisma Merdeka is famous for its boutiques which bring the
latest fashions from Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong. The
patient browser will go home with a great bargain! Wisma
