This Week’s Focus
Advisory- This week we will be going through the
Middle School Procedures Handbook and
Classroom rules. We plan to begin working on our
Habits of Mind as well.
Language Arts- We will begin reading Chains. We
will also continue reviewing grammar and story
parts to make our reading successful.
Math- My 8th grade math students have MAP
testing Thursday during class. We will spend the
week preparing for that assessment. Don’t forget
to eat a good breakfast and get a good night’s
sleep!
AE Math- We will be working through our IXL
Diagnostic and preparing for the MAP test.
Science- We will conclude our discussions on
fossil record and begin talking about Transitions in
the History of life. Expect some readings and in-
class activities.
Logic Puzzles- We will continue to work on our
Sudoku Puzzle skills.
