Possessive Adjectives

Essential Question: How are possessive adjectives used in Spanish?

Questions: Notes:

Possessive adjectives are used to tell what belongs to someone or to

show relationships.

mi(s) my
nuestra(s)
vuestro(s) your
tu(s) your
vuestra(s)
your your

Possessive adjectives must agree with the nouns that follow them in
number (singular/plural) and gender (masc./fem.).
ex: Nuestra clase es divertida.

Su and sus have multiple meanings. You must first establish who
possesses the item before you can use su and sus.
ex: Estudiantes, tenemos notas nuevas.
