Conventions of a Magazine

I have kept the masthead where it through the masthead on the page, I used
conventionally would be on any this to add some more detail to my
other magazine. I use the font magazine as I didn't want it to look boring
called “College” from with just a white background. This would

appeal to students of a school as it the magazine look more interesting and
is a big bold font and stands out the blue banner may catch peoples eye.

The masthead across the contents page
is in the same font as the masthead on
my front cover, I did this so that the
magazine has a running theme
throughout, and this text also is bold
and will attract attention well.
I have used the same font on the
contents page as I did for the
front cover, I've done this to keep
my magazine with a theme. I
changed the colour of the text on
the contents page to a light blue
colour which matches my colour
palette of the magazine. I've
found that making the text blue
has made it stand out more.
The colour palette I have used for
my magazine is Black, White and
light blue.
I added the school logo to my
contents page to keep with the
theme of my school magazine, this is
also useful to identify it as being a
school magazine.
I took my own photos for this
contents page these photo's
are of typical school stationary
that you would expect to find
at or around school.
I took pictures of stationary as
I thought it would go well with
the theme of my magazine
being a school/college
magazine.
On this page I have added the
page number, this will also
make my magazine look more
professional and inform the
reader of what page they are
currently reading.
