Proposed Amendment to Article 7 – Membership of the Constitution of the PC Party of

Ontario.

Whereas over the last three years, multiple reports and substantiated accounts emerged of a
significant number of individuals who were added to the Provincial Party Membership Registry
who did not personally pay the required fee for membership in the PC Party of Ontario;

And Whereas multiple reports and substantiated accounts emerged of individuals who were
added to the Provincial Party Membership Registry unwillingly and / or without their
knowledge;

And Whereas it has been reported that some of these individuals voted in local nomination
conventions.

Be it resolved that a new paragraph 7.5 of the same Constitution be added that states:

“Payment of a membership shall be done by personal cheque or credit card which may include
family members of the same household. Payment of a membership by cash, corporate cheque,
or corporate credit card shall not be permitted.”
