Board Directors Meeting Minutes


May 10, 2018

Call to Order
Meeting was called to order at 6:02pm by Jerome Nettles.

Roll Call
Members Present:
Jordan Stremming, Jade Gaskin, Laura Kate Tribble, Jerome Nettles, Gill Lucas, Arma de la Cruz
Members Absent:
Boo Matthews, Taurus Young, Tripp Smith

Board Ethics
Jerome Nettles opened the meeting by encouraging the board to support one another
individually as a board despite any differences that may come up. The goal of the board is to
protect our neighborhood and the quality of life of the homeowners.

Officers
The board meeting opened with the nomination of officers.
Treasurer
Arma de la Cruz nominated herself. Seconded by Gil.
The board unanimously approved the motion.
Secretary
Jordan Stremming nominated himself. Seconded by Jade.
The board unanimously approved the motion.
Vice President
Gill Lucas nominated by Jade. Seconded by Arma.
The board unanimously approved the motion.
President
Jerome Nettles nominated by Jade. Seconded by Arma.
The board unanimously approved the motion.
Social Committee:
Jade Gaskin and Laura Kate Tribble.
The board recognized the officers of the board as underlined above.
Jerome indicated the By-Laws will be developed now that officers are appointed. Jerome will
submit the officers to Cory Anthony.
Financial Discussion
There was discussion amongst the board of which bank to use for Stone Ridge Development
HOA business.
Jerome made a motion to select Renasant Bank. Seconded by Jordan.
The board unanimously approved the motion.
Starting June 1, 2018, maintenance bills will be mailed to each lot owners. These bills contain the
sewer fee, street light bill, and front entrance maintenance bill.
Jerome submitted quotes for the front entrance to include mowing, cleaning, and mulch in beds.
Each vendor included a one-time overall clean-up amount and a monthly maintenance amount,
all of which can be paid over a monthly period.
Circle B: $350 clean-up + $100/mo. maint. => Total Year: $1550
McQuarter: $325 clean-up + $235/mo. maint. => Total Year: $3145
Bullman: $400 clean-up + $100/mo. maint. => Total Year: $1600
Arma made a motion to accept Circle B; Seconded by Gil.
Effective June 1, 2018.

Neighborhood Website
Jordan developed a website for the neighborhood. www.stoneridgestarkville.com
The purpose of the website is to be a venue to post Minutes for the homeowners to view, post
dates of neighborhood social events, blog about issues and safety practices for the
neighborhood, etc.
The board discussed that the website could be an online payment portal for HOA dues in the
future. For the time being, the treasurer will mail dues to lot owners.

More Financial Discussion


Jerome discussed the budget to run on a January 1st year and the board would use QuickBooks
to maintain the budget and send invoices to homeowners.
Dues as they stand per lot:
$15 sewer fee
$7 lights, fountain, grounds maint.
Total: $22/month/lot
40 lots * $22 => $280/month.
Arma, as treasurer, will create a proposed budget at the next meeting.

Gill made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Jade.
