EXT. STREET - NIGHT

Crickets sound on an empty street in front of the forest.

Street lights show us a couple of stores and other
buildings. Some mountains can be seen a couple of miles
away. It's a small town.

A legend place us...

REDDING, CALIFORNIA

POLICE OFFICERS walk slowly among the parked cars. They hide
behind the vehicles and rise they weapons, SHOTGUNS and
ASSAULT RIFLES points toward the WOODS.

A tall african-american man, probably in his 50's, wearing a

HAT and Khaki UNIFORM. Carries a SHOTGUN, it's the SHERIFF.

He walks to the middle of the street and observes the dark

forest for a moment.

Something in the woods is MOVING.

OFFICERS points their WEAPONS to the front.

Every hand is SHAKING.

SWEAT runs in everybody's face.

Crickets are now...

silent.

The SHERIFF rise his hand very slow.

SHERIFF
Hold on.
A young OFFICER approach to the SHERIFF.

OFFICER
Sir, we should wait for the Army.

The old man keeps watching the dark forest.

SHERIFF
By the time they arrive...if they
arrive, we'll be all dead.

The YOUNG MAN looks at the other POLICE OFFICERS, there are
only TWELVE of them. They are very nervous.

SHERIFF sees something in the woods.

OFFICER
Sir?

SHERIFF
Quiet. Go back slowly, kid.
 2.

The YOUNG OFFICER walks back to his spot behind an old Ford
Explorer. The SHERIFF slowly rises his SHOTGUN, his sharp
EYE points to the darkness.

A weird sound is coming from the forest. Roars like a motor

and is increasing with every second.

Everybody is nervous as hell.

SHERIFF
On my sign!

POLICE OFFICERS are ready to shoot!

The noise increase and like a flash, A MOTORCYCLE comes out

from the WOODS!

SHERIFF
HOLD ON! HOLD ON!

The BIKER reaches the street and FALLS into the concrete!

SHERIFF runs to help him! He takes his head looking for

injuries.

SHERIFF
Jim! Jim! Are you ok?

JIM, a bald caucasian man in his 30's, has a cut over his
left eye. He's sweating and bleeding.

JIM
It's coming.

Two OFFICERS approach to help.

SHERIFF
Where's Lea?!

JIM is in shock, he can't answer, adrenaline is too much for

him right now.

SHERIFF
Jim! Where's Lea?!

JIM breaths very fast, looks to SHERIFF'S EYES.

JIM
She's gone. She's gone. I'm so
sorry.

The SHERIFF looks at him for a moment. His hands closes very
hard. He takes a breath and STANDS UP, POINTS HIS GUN
VIOLENTLY to the WOODS.
SHERIFF
Come on! Come on you son of a
bitch!
 3.

JIM looks at the officers.

JIM
We need to run! We are not safe
here!

SHERIFF looks at JIM.

SHERIFF(TO THE OFFICERS)

Take him away from here! Now!

Two OFFICERS helps the man to stand up. JIM turns around and
yells something.

JIM
Be careful! It can camouflage!

Everybody looks around. Two OFFICERS runs to the SHERIFF.

OFFICER #2
Sir! We are gonna need backup!

SHERIFF
We are the backup, Son. Right now,
we are alone.

A LAMPPOST FALLS AND EXPLODES ON THE GROUND!

GUNS points simultaneously to the left side of the street!

Nobody... moves... a muscle.

BOOM! A CAR ALARM SOUNDS!

THE SHERIFF tries to see anything moving in the dark.

One OFFICER is taking cover in front the GLASS DOOR of the

DRUG STORE.

The light from a LAMPPOST draws the SILHOUETTE OF A DEMON

over the OFFICER FACE!

He realize there's no more light on his eyes, he looks up

slowly. SHARP TEETH...

SNAP!

A LAMPPOST falls over a car. One of the OFFICERS looks

around, he notices someone is missing.

OFFICER #3
Eddie?! Where's Eddie?!

POW!
The POLICE OFFICER gets HIT by something HUGE! He's thrown
into the air and goes throught a restaurant's front WINDOW!
 4.

SHERIFF
SHOOT IT!

The street lights up with the fire of the GUNS! It looks

like a 4th of July celebration.

Out of nowhere, the DARK CREATURE hits the front of a

CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY, pushing it and crushing a POLICE
OFFICER in between another car!

OFFICER #2
IT'S THERE!!

The MAN points somewhere on the street. The light infront of

a store reveals a BIG ANIMAL running full charge towards the
team...

IT'S A CARNOTAURUS!

SHERIFF
TAKE COVER!

Everybody runs up the street looking for a safe place.

An OFFICER shoots at a DOOR to go inside a building. Not

enough time.

The CARNOTAURUS GRABS HIM BY THE SHOULDER.

The OFFICER SCREAMS IN PAIN. He's dropped behind a car, the

CARNOTAUR finish with the man's life.

SHERIFF is running up the street along five OFFICERS.

One of them stumbles. He can feel the MONSTER FOOTSTEPS

approaching. He crawls on the floor reaching for his RIFLE.
He grabs it and turns around.
Nothing's there.

He stands up and runs again as fast as he can.

The POLICE TEAM keeps running up the street without noticing

their partner. The SHERIFF looks behind and sees the OFFICER
running very fast. The OFFICER behind past a LAMPPOST, the
light covers him for a second.

The group past along another LAMPPOST, the light covers them
by brief seconds. SHERIFF looks back, the other OFFICER is
not behind anymore.

EVERYBODY turns around a corner. They see a CHURCH.

They reach to the front door!

OFFICER #4
POLICE! MOVE FROM THE DOOR!
 5.

INT. CHURCH - NIGHT

BANG! BANG! Two rounds are shot into the door. The FIVE MEN
enters the temple. They close the door as fast as they can.
They put a bench against the door.

They walk the principal aisle.

The whole place is cover in soft color lights. Outside LAMPS

illuminates WINDOWS with holy images. OFFICERS crouch.

FOOTSTEPS surrounds the building.

Boom... Boom... Boom.

OFFICERS looks at the windows. THE SHADOW OF THE CARNOTAURUS

appears on a WINDOW with a painting of JESUS carrying a
cross on his shoulders and ROMANS are punishing him.

Everyone FOLLOWS the SHADOW with their WEAPONS. The SHADOW

disappears on the next window.

An OFFICER starts praying.

SHERIFF
Quiet. The Devil can't enter here.

OFFICER #4
We know that's not true.

The GROUP keep looking through the windows. They see nothing
but religious images on the glass.

A little sound comes from a SIDE DOOR. All GUNS points to

there.
Men stay still.

CRASH!

THE CARNOTAURUS destroys the DOORS and enters the building!

OFFICER
KILL IT!

BULLETS FLY ACROSS THE ROOM! The Dinosaur has a very thick
skin, bullets only leaves scratches.

The animal RUNS towards the aisle, RAMS an OFFICER sending

him against a wall, he's dead.

Temple is a war zone.

CARNOTAURUS tries to bite an OFFICER behind the STAIRS. Her
tail hits a BENCH, SHERIFF jumps to the ground avoiding
being squashed.
 6.

The OFFICER behind the stairs shoots all his bullets to the
CARNOTAURUS' face. The ANIMAL ROARS furiously, steps back
and looks around.

SHERIFF is on the ground. Tries to RELOAD his SHOTGUN but

there is...

THE CARNOTAURUS is right above him. The man freezes.

SHERIFF looks into the RED HELLISH EYE of the monster above
him.

The dinosaur ROARS.

SOLDIER
TO THE GROUND!

The sound of an HELICOPTER blast the building!

LIGHTS appear from nowhere.

A SOLDIER IS STANDING ON THE SIDE DOOR. SHOOTS.

The ANIMAL ROARS louder. The SHERIFF and the other COPS runs
to the door. More SOLDIERS enters the building. They have
TRANQUILIZER RIFLES.

They SHOOT another round of darts.

The BEAST roars once again and falls to the ground.

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. INTERROGATION ROOM - UNKNOWN

A FOLDER is thrown to the table. A caucasian bald MAN IN A

BLACK SUIT is standing at one side of the white TABLE. On
the other side is OWEN GRADY, handcuffed to the table.

MAN IN BLACK
Ok, this man

The MAN opens the FOLDER and shows a picture of KEN WHEATLEY
to OWEN.

MAN IN BLACK
Wheatley, he was the man in charge
of the operation at Nublar,
correct?

OWEN
That's correct.

MAN IN BLACK
How much can you tell me about him?
 7.

OWEN
I only spent like... Two hours with
him before he shot me and left me
to die on the island.

MAN IN BLACK
Did he mentioned anything about
Africa or UN?

OWEN
No. He limited his words to only
cheap jokes.

The MAN IN BLACK shows other pictures of MERCENARIES on

different places.

MAN IN BLACK
Did you saw any of this men on the
island?

OWEN sees the pictures, he don't recognize anyone.

OWEN
I saw none of them. Just Wheatley.

The MAN studies every movement of OWEN.

MAN IN BLACK
Wheatley was our link to find
certain people of interest. We know
he sold a couple of dinosaurs to a
terrorist in Zimbabwe.

OWEN
Why you don't ask one of his
henchmen?
MAN IN BLACK
Corpses do not speak.

OWEN
Did you talked with Henry Wu?

MAN IN BLACK
Where did you saw him?

OWEN
He was present on the auction. I
heard he created the hybrid.

MAN IN BLACK
After the fall of Jurassic World,
Dr. Wu has been working for
Lockwood and at the same time, for
ByoSin, a genetics company here in
California. But we don't have
evidence to link him with Mills.

OWEN
What about the laboratories in
Lockwood's basement? There gotta be
evidence there.

MAN IN BLACK
The laboratories were destroyed,
and most of the information was
burnt. We only found cages and
melted computers. Now, tell me
about Ms. Rodriguez.

OWEN
Sia? I only know she cares about
dinosaurs much more than I do.

MAN IN BLACK
We know she has been working with
the DPG for a year and a half but
also...

The MAN IN BLACK shows a photograph of SIA meeting other

people on a street.

MAN IN BLACK
She's been in touch with Nima Cruz,
a well known nature activist that
also worked for ByoSin in the past.

OWEN sees the people on the picture.

MAN IN BLACK
We need to find her. And her
friend, the hacker.

OWEN
I don't know where they are.
THE MAN IN BLACK walks next to OWEN. They both look at each
other eyes.

MAN IN BLACK
It's funny. I don't believe... you
didn't realized you have been
dancing with the devil all this
time.

CUT TO:

INT. INTERROGATION ROOM #2 - UNKNOWN

A couple of PICTURES of ELI MILLS are put on the table.

CLAIRE DEARING is sit infront of a table. A WOMAN IN BLACK
suit stares at CLAIRE at the other side.
WOMAN IN BLACK
For the record, did you know it was
illegal to take the dinosaurs out
of the island?
 9.

CLAIRE looks at the woman infront of her.

CLAIRE
We were trying to rescue them.

WOMAN IN BLACK
Rescue? Last week, seven people
died. Two days ago, five police
officers died, including the
daughter of a Sheriff.

CLAIRE
I didn't knew Mills was going to
sell the animals. He came to me
with the best intentions...

The WOMAN SLAPS the table!

WOMAN IN BLACK
And that's the big problem! You and
your group of friends didn't
thought about the consequences of
your acts.

CLAIRE
It was our duty to protect those
animals.

WOMAN IN BLACK
And it's my duty to protect
innocent people from your mistakes.
I bet you don't know who this kids
truly are.
