JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER

ABSTRACT:
- poverty, one of the few social ills here in our country. such ills causes
children to commit crimes in order
to survive. base on the juvenile justice welfare council (JJWC), there were atleast
11,000 CICL (children in conflict with the law
in 2009. and according to president rodrigo durterte, he and his allies are
planning on lowering the age of criminal responsibility up to 9 years of age.
as per the situation of juvenile detention center here in the philippines, the
facilities according to the visitors of some facilities tend to say that it is
crowded, some of them even call it "houses of horror".
