Homework for
Week of September 17-21

This Week’s Focus: Students will continue working with number lines and other strategies in
math to add up to two-digit numbers. We will also be working with odd and even numbers. During
reading, students will learn about the life cycles of the frog and butterfly (as well as reading
fictional stories about these creatures) in preparation for our butterfly farm field trip. Students will
continue to learn about weather this week in science. Students will record the weather daily to
learn about weather patterns. We will be working on narrative writing that includes a beginning,
middle and ending.
