7. Brakes – TEST / SET 5. Carb heat – ON BEFORE CLOSING
4. Master Switch – ON 1. CONTINUE CRANKING TO START ENGINE
THROTTLE
5. Flaps – DOWN 2. Engine Starts – POWER1700 for few minutes
STARTING ENGINE AND THEN SHUT DOWN

7. Master Switch – OFF 3. No Start – SHUTDOWN

 MIXTURE IDLE CUTOFF

W/ FLAPS DOWN 40 Degrees  CONTINUE CRANKING

1. Empennage surface – CHK 4. Touchdown at stall – MAINS FIRST ENGINE SECURE:

2. Horizontal stabilizer – SECURE
7. Prop Area – CLEAR 5. Landing roll – GENTLY LOWER NOSE  MASTER SWITCH OFF
3. Elevator – FREE & SECURE
8. Ignition – START 6. Braking – MINIMUM REQ’D  IGNITION OFF
4. Rudder – FREE & SECURE  FUEL VALVE OFF
9. Oil Pressure – CHK
5. Tail tie-down – DISCONNECT AFTER LANDING  FIRE EXTINGUISH
10. Radio – ON/SET
6. Lights & Antenna – CHK  INSPECT FOR DAMAGE
11. Transponder – ON /ALT 1. Transponder – Stays on ALT
7. ELT Antenna – CHK 2. Wing Flaps – UP

4. Leading edge – CHK 2. Brakes – ON 1. Brakes – ON 5. Airspeed – 85 KIAS OR AS
5. Wing tie-down – DISCONNECT 3. Flight controls - FREE/CORRECT 2. Transponder – OFF NECESSARY TO
6. Main wheel & tire – CHK 4. Flight instruments – SET 3. Radio’s - OFF EXTINGUISH FIRE
7. Fuel tank sump drain – SAMPLE 5. Fuel valve – ON 4. Ignition grounding - CHK 6. Forced landing – EXECUTE
8. Fuel quantity – VISUAL CHK 6. Mixture – RICH 5. Mixture lean 1 in., 1700 rpm 15 sec.
9. Fuel filler cap – SECURE 7. Trim – SET FOR TAKEOFF 6. 1000 rpm Mixture – IDLE/CUTOFF ELECTRICAL FIRE IN FLIGHT

4. Fuel filler cap – SECURE 2. Wing flaps - 0 1. Airspeed – 60 KIAS 2. Master switch – ON
5. Pitot tube cover – REMOVE/CHK 3. Carb heat – COLD 2. Carb heat – ON 3. Light – OFF, IF ON,
