 ABSTRACT

This report describes the activities that I did during my internship period at PT. Adhi
Karya (PERSERO) at Indonesia for around 2 months. PT. Adhi Karya Status as a Limited
Liability Company has encouraged ADHI to continue to provide the best service for all
stakeholders, both in ADHI’s development and Indonesia’s construction industry that
continues to grow. The intensity of competition and price wars between the construction
industries made the Company redefine its vision and mission: Becoming the Renowned
Construction Company in Southeast Asia.

This report shows the details about background of the company, history of the project
that they constructed and the activities that I carried out during my training. All the details of
activities, skills and new knowledge during my internship will be concluded in this report to
prove that I have done my industrial training as required.

 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all, I am most grateful to Almighty ALLAH s.w.t for blessing me with good
health and ideas in completing this internship period successfully. I would like to thank Allah
for His firm hands in guiding and give me a good health during completing this report as my
requirement to successfully complete this industrial training a predetermined period. I would
like to extend my sincere appreciation to PT. Adhi Karya as it has given me the opportunity to
implement this industrial training for 10 weeks starting from 2 July 2018 to 7 September 2018.

I would also like to thank Mr. Agung, for giving me the opportunity and accepting me
to undertake industrial training in this company. Not only that, I thank my supervisor, Pak
Gurawan and Pak Jaka and Pak Puji, this project consultant, who taught me a lot and did not
stingy enough to devote their knowledge. Much of the knowledge I have gained as long as I do
industrial training. The knowledge that I gained was able to use it in the future. I am very
grateful to all staff of PT. Adhi Karya for being able to spend time teaching me without
complaints despite being busy performing daily tasks.

Then, I take this opportunity to thank my parents, Misran Bin A Hamid and Rabiah
Binti Jamin, who gave me moral support throughout my training. Last but not least, I also
would like to thank my friends, technicians and whoever involved directly or indirectly helping
me to learn new things and completing my training. The good service and goodness of all
parties will remain in memory and I am glad that I have a great team during my industrial
training. I hope all parties that helped me during this training will be rewarded.
