Today in the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross we were motivated with the book of Numbers 21;4-9 to recognise how, in the same way as the People of Israel, we can become impatient in our journey to the Promised Land. And how that impatience can make us react with a damaging distrust that bites our lives. But the Lord never stops helping us, giving us masts of salvation (John 3; 14-15).
After having a free day yesterday, the Congress continued in a spirit of profound gratitude towards the Responsibles from the outgoing General Junta, May God reward and abundantly bless all their self-giving!
Today has been marked by the procedure for the Presidential election in a climate of prayer, reflection and discernment with the Holy Spirit, who we have repeatedly and insistently invoked, asking the Spirit to show us the one chosen for this service.
We are grateful for those of you who as well unite with our prayers for this grace.
