Present Perfect Tense)
Present perfect tense is a verb form used to express an action or situation that has started in
the past and still continues until now or has been completed at a certain point in time in the
past but the effect is still continuing.(Present perfect tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja
yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu aksi atau situasi yang telah dimulai di masa lalu dan
masih berlanjut sampai sekarang atau telah selesai pada suatu titik waktu tertentu di masa
lalu namun efeknya masih berlanjut.)

- Formula of Present Perfect Tense(Rumus Present

Present perfect tense is formed with auxiliary verb "have" or "has", and past participle (verb-
3). Have used for I, you, they, we, while has for he, she, it, and a single third personThus the
present perfect tense formula for positive, negative, and interrogative sentences is as
follows.(Present perfect tense dibentuk dengan auxiliary verb “have” atau “has”, dan past
participle (verb-3). Have digunakan untuk I, you, they, we, sedangkan has untuk he, she, it,
dan orang ketiga tunggal. Sedangkan past participle dapat berupa regular atau irregular verb.)

While the past participle can be a regular or irregular verb.(Dengan demikian rumus present
perfect tense untuk kalimat positif, negatif, dan interogatif adalah sebagai berikut.)

tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu aksi
(dengan durasi waktu tertentu) telah selesai pada suatu titik waktu tertentu di masa lalu.)

Past perfect continuous tense is formed with auxiliary verb had and been and present
participle. In general, the past perfect continuous tense only occurs in the action of dynamic
verb, not stative verb because it is generally only dynamic verb which has a continuous

participle. Secara umum past perfect continuous tense hanya terjadi pada aksi

digunakan untuk menyatakan aksi yang akan sedang terjadi pada waktu tertentu di masa
depan. Aksi tersebut telah dimulai tapi belum selesai pada saat itu.
