• Ensure that all plant equipments and machinery are maintained in perfect working condition all the
time and perform safe, smooth and trouble-free operation when needed.
• Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to meet maintenance targets while
executing Preventive, Predictive as well as Breakdown maintenances.
• Ensure effective utilization of Inventory Management Software for engineering stock management/
monitoring of consumable materials/spare parts inventory and their consumption for maintaining all
the equipment in working condition.
• Leading the ReCon agenda at Plant to meet all resource conservation targets as per PepsiCo
global Recon initiative.
• Maintain all Utilities equipment at the plant in perfect working order and deliver the required
utilities to the production operations as and when needed. Utilities include Chillers, Boilers,
Generators, Cooling towers and Compressors.
• Manage R&M and utilities (Electricity, Gas, Fuel and Water) related expenses within budget and
plan.
• Ensure timely annual maintenance of the boilers at the plant with minimum disruption to
production operations while also complying with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide support in planning as well as execution of CAPITAL projects at the plant.
• Liaison with PepsiCo support center and ensure the implementation of engineering and hygiene
standards on plant.
• Implementation of Global Environment Health and Safety Management system (GEHSMS) on
plant.

• Implement RECON best practices on plant by collaborating with other PWF sites across the globe.

Maintenance Engineer at Nestle S.A.


May 2012  -  May 2014 (2 years 1 month)
Worked at Liquid Dairy Plant which includes direct ( VTIS 5000 l/hr) Cream and indirect ( 30000 l/
hr) Milk ultra high temperature processing plants ,Tetrapak aseptic fillers ( TBA 22 & A3 Speed) and
downstream packaging lines. Major responsibilities included ( not limited to) the following :-

• Lead the plant maintenance team to ensure line efficiencies and performance remains at peak by
avoiding breakdowns.
• Establish and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Optimize Predictive Maintenance technologies (Condition Monitoring and inspections) to minimize
unplanned downtime.
• Utilize Planned Downtime for Scheduled and Condition-Based Maintenance.
• Propose and implement improvements to minimize downtime for line change and cleaning as well
as for better safety and hygienic condition of plant.
• Liaison with Production & Quality Management on a daily basis to resolve technical and/or
operational issues. (Stoppage Analysis from Downtime Reporting System).
• Timely ordering of spare parts and follow up with procurement and Maintain spares in store at
optimum level.
• Ensure successful audits of plant like NIMS, OHSAS and Food safety audits.
• Preparation and control of M&I budget.
• Ensure Asset reliability and plant performance remains at maximum by using Asset &
Maintenance Management (AMM) System.
• Encourage use of problem solving techniques (GEMBA, GSTD, and DMAIC).
• Liaison with cross functional departments; Automation and General maintenance to resolve
various issues at plant.
• Ensure compliance of personal and equipment safety.
• Drive the plant management team by effectively implementing leadership development Pillar at
plant.

Major Projects carried out are following:


• Installation and commissioning of De-Aerator for UHT Milk processing plant.
• Installation and commissioning of Helicap for 1000ml milk packaging for cap installation on packs.

Maintenance Engineer
October 2008  -  May 2012 (3 years 8 months)
Worked in Olympia chemicals limited; a 500 tpd capacity plant. Major responsibilities were
following:

• Planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance through CMMS.
• Keep maintenance history of related sections and logging of activities on daily basis.
• Suggest modifications in systems and machines for better efficiencies.
• Implementation of condition monitoring plan in factory.
• Update plant P&IDs and drawings.
• Lead the activities for successful implementation of ISO 14001 in factory.
• Costing and budgeting for addition/ installation of new equipments.
Major Projects carried out are listed below:
• Installation and commissioning of Compressor and Calciner during expansion project from
300TPD to 500TPD.
• Planning and execution of Annual Turnarounds and overhauling of major equipments like
compressors, Calciners and cooling towers.
• Installation of fire hydrant system in whole factory.
