● Picture Day - Tuesday, September 25th. Our class’s time will be
in the morning.
● MAP Testing will take place on Thursday, September 27th and
Friday, September 28th first thing in the morning. Please make
sure your child eats breakfast and comes to school on time!
● Room Reps needed! I am looking for two parents to take on the
role as Room Rep. As room rep you will be responsible for
securing field trip chaperones and planning 3 holiday celebrations
(Halloween, Winter Break, Valentine’s). Sometimes other little
things will come up, but otherwise it is a pretty simple task.
Please email me if interested!
● Complete the volunteer application if you’d like to be a field trip
chaperone and/or classroom volunteer. Don’t forget to bring
your ID to Maribel in the office after completing the application
online.

● Homework:
o Students will have homework each night – most nights it will
be just to read. It is important that your child practices
reading whether it is independently or with a parent or
sibling.
o Please refer to your child’s agenda for most up to date
homework.
