Though there are members of the
community who are not going to school,
there are still those who are equipped with
proper knowledge and skills to teach others

education is also needed in order to alleviate
the said problem.

Resources of the Student Nurses:


The student nurses are equipped with the
knowledge to provide health teachings
regarding this problem. Likewise, the
student nurses initiated action of the
program to address this existing problem in
the community.

Resources of the Community:


There is a public elementary and high school
in the community wherein residents may
avail education at the level of their capacity
which may serve as one of the community’s
resources.

PROGRAM PROPOSAL
Chat Session & Information Dissemination:
“INAY, TURUAN MO AKO”

OBJECTIVES
 To assess the level of awareness of the residents regarding the problem of low education.
 To remind the residents the importance of education
 To identify interventions that may encourage the residents to impart their knowledge to their
children as well as encouraging them to attend and finish school.
 To address the problem to the barangay officials and local government units regarding the
existence of the problem.
 To evaluate response after the chat session.

 Review the planned activity
 Inform and secure approval from Barangay officials regarding the said program.
 Disseminate information to the residents regarding the said program with the use of posters and
flyers.
 Prepare the venue where the program will be held.
 Prepare the necessary materials for the activity.
 Gather the residents on the day of the program.
 Distribute reading materials during the program.
 Evaluate the response of the participants.
 Accomplish documentation.

EXPECTED OUTCOME
 The participants of the program shall have acquired knowledge on the importance of education
and life changes that it may bring about.
