SAM onboarding guide - Set of requirements

Small environment - AL150-AL300

Medium environment - AL700-AL1500 (AL1100)
Large environment - ALX

For upto 1500 components - AL1500

Split SAM and SQL DB
SQL Standard or Enterprise (2008 R2, 2012 or 2014) - SQL Express is not recommended
RAID 10 is recommended for SQL DB; RAID 5 is strongly not recommended for SQL DB
Have adequate RAM reservations for OS and other necessary applications / tools on
the SQL server

List of exclusions are required for the AV scanning on the SAM servers
Local Windows user account is recommended than domain account as it might be
affected by group policies
SA credentials are only required initially for Orion to create the databases
automatically and for creating a new user account with adequate permissions for
Orion DBs
