Role: BW Technical Lead – Load Monitoring Team

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for status reporting, client communication & coordinating with the project
management team for timely completion and quality maintenance of projects.

 Resolve the issues reported by Users pertaining to Data mismatches or data not available.
Perform Adhoc data loads request for fixing the data issues.
 Implementing various checks for the daily load monitoring processes which improved the
performance of the team as well as overall delivery to client.
 Very High Contribution to reduction in loading time by proactively addressing the data loading
issues with temporary and permanent fixes.
 Initiated and implemented loading issues tracker document to record all the loading issues and its
resolution.

Role: Onsite Coordinator – BW SWAT Team Lead (Duration: May 2011 to April 2013)

Responsibilities:

 All the action point in SWAT to be handled with top priority and delivering with in the promised
time to Ericsson.
 Gather all required information more effectively related to BW systems for SWAT reporting and
answer customer queries.

 Technical and Functional design issue identified in Supply application area and were fixed to
ensure 100% data quality. Also developed reconciliation tool to automate the Supply data
reconciliation process for data quality check.
 Implemented the following recommendations for a robust BWA system and to improve
performance.

1. Changing the Backup Index/Queue Servers from 'Multiplex' to 'Shared' mode.


2. Base path configuration changes.
3. Firmware and OCFS2 file system upgrade have been successfully implemented.
4. Dedicated network path for BWA system.

 Implement the recommended SAP notes and Solutions for all the software bugs in BWA.
 Upgraded the BWA system with available latest revisions delivered by SAP to resolve many
critical issues related to BWA.
 Latest support pack of BI Java SP05 with patch level 41 has been applied to resolve critical BW
SRM report (EB report) issues in relation with BI Java.
 All the issues related to Broadcasting have been resolved.
 Keep track on all BW Operations team tasks like - Overall system monitoring, Housekeeping,
Reconciliation, Broadcasting, Webpage/Customer updates etc.
 IGS has been upgraded to patch level '03' to resolve the graphical issues in the enterprise portal.
 Issues associated with the WIP cube in the Supply inventory reporting area has been resolved in
coordination with SAP.
 Identified the cause for Index Server of blade 14 restart and was resolved by changing the read
mode of one of the queries in SMS areas from read mode A to H.
 BWA System stability - Moved around 48 queries to P50 by changing read mode from A to H.
 Created 16 proactive PMR's for resolving the loading issues identified and implemented the
solutions successfully.
 Reduction in High severity incident tickets due to proactive monitoring and maintenance activities
in BW/BWA.
 Suggest Process improvements in the Operations pain area, implement them and provide
comparison of the results.
 As part of BPPO initiative we have proposed 14 critical data loading issues that affected the
business operations and were resolved.
 Successfully drive as a SPOC during BW 7.30 ABAP SP05 upgrade.
 Successfully resolved the critical DTP Authorization issue after BW 7.30 ABAP SP05 upgrade.
 Update the customer community on any Operations issues with no time gaps.
 Preparation of AO Handbook.

 Participation in all the drop meetings and preparing consolidated loading plan during drops.

Material Management System (IMMS) is a complete comprehensive system, which manages the
complete movement of material. Movement of material from the Stores to various departments will make
it easy to account for the materials being consumed in the organization. It maintains the delivery Chelan
(DC), Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and posting the Purchase Order (PO) forms, this helps in proper stock
accounting. Material Stock may be evaluated at any point of time.
