Society, formerly known as Modern Music Masters, which recognizes students in their academics, community service, and musical accomplishments. Officer Introduction President - Rhea Bhatt Vice President - Maria Kanton Secretary - Rajani Guditi Treasurer - Justin Tulino Historian - Gillian Robbins Publicity - Winnfer Chen, Erin Tennis, Heelim Kim, Samhitha Gali Member Requirements - Members must be enrolled in at least one Honors level music class at AK and be a junior or senior - Members must maintain a 3.5 GPA in all music classes and a 3.0 in all other areas - Members can only miss two meetings throughout the year, meetings will be monthly - Members must complete 10 hours of community service relating to music, which cannot overlap with Knights In Action - Members must pay the online fee after being accepted - Members must attend all events and conventions related to Tri-M Activity Timeline September 24th - Interest Meeting October 2nd - Homecoming Parade Meeting October 5th - Homecoming Parade October 12th - Application Deadline October 26th - Fees Due Through OBPS (Pay only once!) November 1st - Decision Notification November 2nd - First Official Meeting Month of November - Induction Ceremony Application Process 1) Fill out the form located on the Orchestra, Band, and Tri-M websites (will also be sent via Remind) which includes a questionnaire and a video audition of the piece of your choice. a) A teacher recommendation will be completed by your respective music teacher. b) Participation in the Homecoming Parade is required as part of your application.
