III. Procedure

A. Preliminary Activities

Prayer

Checking of Attendance

B. Motivation

The teacher shows the picture of the heavenly bodies and let the pupils
answer the questions given by the teacher.

IV. Lesson Proper

Activity

Divide the students into two groups. Distribute the materials and let them
unlock the words that may encounter during the discussion.

Analysis

What is the sun? What are layers of the sun and the importance of each
layer? Why should the pupils know the layers of the sun? Let see in our discussion if
your answer really fit.
 Abstraction

Discuss the structure of the sun and its layers. Allow the pupils to understand
the importance of each layer during the discussion.

Application

Draw the cross section of the sun showing its layers and label its parts.

V. Evaluation

The teacher evaluates the pupils by answering the following questions

written in the visual aid.

VI. Assignment

Give at least 5 benefits we get from the sun. Write your answer on your
assignment notebook.
