French Toast recipe

Ingredients:  1 teaspoon of sugar


 6 slices of bread
 6 eggs  4 tablespoons of oil
 3/4 cup of whipping cream  4 tablespoons of butter
 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract  10 milliliters of maple
 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon poder  ¾ cup of milk
 2 grams of nutmeg
 1 gram of salt

Preparation:
1. Mix the eggs, cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt with a
balloon whisk. Reserve
2. Arrange slices of bread in a pyrex (in a single layer) and put all the egg
mixture on top. Let stand for 10 minutes.
3. Turn over the slices of bread and let rest for another 10 minutes, absorbing
all the liquid
4. Preheat the oven to 120º centigrade
5. Place a rack on a baking sheet (if you have one). If not, grease the tray
6. Heat in a skillet over medium heat 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons
oil.
7. Fry half of the bread slices until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side
8. Pass the fried slices to the grid tray
9. Clean the pan, and repeat step 7 with the rest of the bread, oil and butter
10. Put the rest of the French bread on the tray and put it in the oven for a few
minutes until it is ready to serve
11. Serve with hot maple
