Dear Sir,
Ref: Poor Conditions in the Block of Apartments
With reference to the above, I am writing this letter to express my neighbours and my dissatisfaction over the poor conditions in the block of apartments. 1. Lifts in the apartment which are used by the residents and visitors everyday has been vandalized by a group of people. It has been a sore to everyone’s eye. One way to prevent this from happening again is to install security cameras in the lift so that there will be a 24/7 surveillance of the lift. 2. Drains around apartment block are always clogged. It has caused a major smell pollution to the residents especially to the residents with breathing difficulties or people who have allergies to pungent smells. To solve this problem, drains must be ensured cleaned regularly by the cleaners. 3. Bags of garbage in the garbage dump has been piling up nonstop due to the irregularity of garbage collection. Similar to the clogged drains, it has caused stress to some of residents due to the smell pollution. One way to solve this issue is to ensure rubbish collection by the respective rubbish collectors. 4. Lately, residents have spotted heaps of rubbish dumped behind the block of apartments. This is most probably caused by some of the residents who are very lazy to walk to the designated rubbish dump to throw their rubbish. A fine should be issued to those who are caught dumping rubbish everywhere as an act of punishment. 5. There were several complains from the residents due to the limited parking space for residents. This issue has caused many residents to park their cars at the curb of the main road outside the apartment which has been causing a traffic jam. This issue can be solved by turning unused owned land by the apartment into parking lots. 6. Lastly, the playground nearby has not been properly maintained for quite some time. This will cause some residents to not exercise as there are no proper places to exercise other than the playground. Ultimately, their mental health and physical health will be affected. This issue can be solved by undergoing a scheduled maintenance of the playground by contactors with the help of funds from the residents. I hope the authorities concerned will take this matter seriously and take the necessary action to stop this problem from becoming worse. Thank You.
