PERSONAL STATEMENT

INTRODUCTION
First of all, let me introduce my self, My name is Giacinta Hestia. People usually call me Cinta. I
have born and grown up in Yogyakarta and I just graduate in Pharmacy Sanata Dharma. I
recently worked at one of the beauty clinics in Yogyakarta as a pharmacist. With this letter, I
applied for a position in the Master of Clinical Dermatology program, offered at Padjadjaran
University. With my current experience as a Pharmacist, I would like to extend my technical
knowledge about treatment on skin problems. I have several reasons why I want to continue
studying at this university.

REASONS
Since childhood, my parents want me to develop my interest in health and medicine. Seeing
patients, and helping patients to regain their health or overcome pain, made me decide that I
wanted to be part of this fun profession. I want to take the time to help others in a safe and
effective way by using innovative pharmaceutical drugs. I am inspired by the many people
around me to become a Pharmacist because I want to improve the quality of one's life. Currently I
often take part in voluntary activities in Pharmacy, which I like to find invaluable direct
knowledge about useful medicines.
From my point of view, Pharmacy is not just about drug making and spending, but more than that
can be used to save lives. But drugs also have other functions such as for aesthetics. Drugs can be
used as a tool to correct the problems experienced by women and men and also increase one's
confidence level. General keyword, dull skin can be used to solve the problem. With this in mind
I hope to explore innovative and developing drugs with my program in Pharmacy.

CONCLUSION
I am qualified to applied Master of Clinical Dermatology because I mainly focus my self to the
advancement of the fields by doing several researches on the subject. I am willing to pursue the
higher education in the program for the betterment of my future life. Further, I love to helping
other in a safe and effective way with the use of innovative pharmaceutical medicine.
